Mustapha Heron chooses Auburn over the NBA
Auburn Tigers freshman guard Mustapha Heron announced that he will not enter the 2017 NBA Draft and will return to school for his sophomore season.
What It Means:
After an excellent freshman season, where Heron was named to the SEC All-Freshman team, the guard will stay out of a stocked 2017 draft class and try to improve his game and help lead Auburn to more than a 12th place finish in the SEC in 2017-18.
Heron led the Tigers in scoring with 15.3 points to go along with his 6.1 rebounds per game last season.
