Running Back: Jay Ajayi

Jay Ajayi, RB, Miami Dolphins
25 Rushes, 204 Yards, 2 Touchdowns
1 Reception, 3 Yards, 2 Targets
Performance: 100, NEP: +13.41

In one of the most surprising upsets of the week, the Miami Dolphins were able to stymie the explosive offense of the Pittsburgh Steelers and come out with a 30-15 win. The Dolphins leaned on Jay Ajayi, who ran his way to a career-best performance. Ajayi toted the rock 25 times for 204 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Ajayi made some explosive runs against the Pittsburgh defense, including a 62-yarder that went the distance. He had a whopping 148 yards after contact. The offensive line has had a ton of moving pieces this season, but this was the first game that Mike Pouncey, Laremy Tunsil and Branden Albert all started. Following this week's performance, Ajayi jumped to third in Rushing NEP for the season -- behind only Lesean McCoy and Ezekiel Elliott.

Ajayi finished as the RB3 in Week 6 in points per reception (PPR) formats. He should be a hot waiver-wire addition this week in leagues where he is available, but with the return of a healthy Arian Foster, Ajayi's usage remains a question mark moving forward.
