A week after they were blown out in Los Angeles by the Chargers, Washington rebounded in Week 15 against the Arizona Cardinals. Washington sacked Blaine Gabbert five times and forced two turnovers en route to a top-seven defensive finish.

Now, Washington gets to face another backup quarterback at home in Week 16 as it will either see Brock Osweiler or Paxton Lynch under center for the Denver Broncos. Streamers may be rooting for Lynch to get the nod as he was dismal in his one start this season while Osweiler played pretty well last week in a Broncos win after Trevor Siemian left with a shoulder injury. In his lone start this season, Lynch threw for just 41 yards, took 4 sacks and threw 1 interception before he left early with an injury that has sidelined him since.

But Osweiler drawing the start wouldn't be a negative. In his three starts this year, Osweiler has thrown at least one interception in every game, and he's taken multiple sacks in two of those games. And as good as he looked last week, it came indoors against the Indianapolis Colts, one of the league's worst defenses.

This game is expected to be a low-scoring affair as it is installed with a 41.0-point over/under, although Vegas has Washington as a 3.5-point home favorite. Against either Osweiler or Lynch, Washington's defense should be able to rack up some fantasy points in Week 16.
