Dynasty Fantasy Football: 6 Buy-Low Targets for This Offseason

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers took him in the third round in the 2017 draft, and while Godwin didn't see a ton of action early on -- playing behind Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson and Adam Humphries -- he looked pretty good in his limited opportunities. From Week 10 on, Godwin averaged 55.25 yards per game and ended the year with back-to-back games of 98 and 111 yards (with his lone rookie-year touchdown coming in Week 17).
It appears that Godwin is good at football; the hurdle here is opportunity. Obviously, Evans is the top dog in this offense, so he's going to see a slew of targets. The spots behind him aren't as set in stone. Humphries is headed to restricted free agency, and D-Jax can be cut with no cap penalties after 2018.
Unless the Bucs elect to let Humphries walk and move Godwin to the slot, Godwin may have a tough time breaking out next season. But he has talent and flashed it in 2017, so buying him now is rolling the dice on Godwin getting a chance to shine at some point down the road while getting him for cheaper than he'll be 12 months from now if he's a presumed starter for 2019.
