2018 NFL Draft: 5 Notable Prospects Missing From the Combine

With the NFL Scouting Combine in the books, here are five players that were not invited to the event but could still make a big impact in the pros.

The dream of playing professional football does not come to an abrupt end just because a prospect was not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. In fact, just last year, the Arizona Cardinals invested a top-100 selection in Chad Williams, a wide receiver from Grambling that did not get an opportunity to participate at the showcase. Successful undrafted players like Wes Welker, Julian Edelman, Antonio Gates, and more recently, Adam Thielen, are among the top offensive skill players that were also passed over by the Combine.

Here are a few names -- all of whom are running backs or wideouts -- that were not in Indianapolis, but you should keep them in mind as the pro day season unfolds.
