Alshon Jeffery, Philadelphia Eagles

Target NEP per target: 0.86

In his first season with the Philadelphia Eagles, wide receiver Alshon Jeffery was fairly average when it came to per-play efficiency. He was one of 14 wide receivers to see at least 120 targets and was sixth in terms of Target NEP per target. As a red-zone weapon, however, he was among the top tier.

His 8 red zone receptions were the second-most of his career, and his 7 touchdowns a career high. All eight of his receptions were successful, giving him a 100% Reception Success Rate – the percentage of plays that positively impact a players NEP – which was enough for a first-place tie.

Considering Jeffery played through a shoulder injury for the whole season and that he is tethered to 2017’s most efficient red-zone quarterback in Carson Wentz, we should expect him to remain among the best in this category next season
