Jamison Crowder, WR, Washington Redskins

DraftKings Price: $4,200

Projected Points: 10.6

Projected Value (points per $1,000): 2.52

Washington Redskins wide receiver Jamison Crowder was on average the 37th wide receiver taken in PPR leagues this draft season. He's quickly made that seem aspirational.

Through two weeks, Crowder is the 79th-ranked wide receiver on DraftKings. He has scored just 6.2 and 5.7 points in his first two games, respectively, and has left redraft and daily owners shaking their heads.

Of course, he started slowly in 2017 as well. He had only one double-digit DraftKings game through seven weeks last year, and then turned in seven such performances in his final nine games.

Despite his struggles this year, this week's matchup against the Packers has a good chance of getting him back on track. In 2017, the Packers ranked 23rd against passes over the middle and 30th against short passing routes. Through two weeks this year, they have allowed the biggest games to Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen, and Allen Robinson, who have run slot routes on 44.9%, 70.9%, and 44.0% of their snaps, respectively.

Crowder, of course, lives in the slot, where he ran 74.4% of his routes last season. The 45.5 total in this game is relatively modest compared to some of the expected shootouts, but our models still favor a positive game script for the Redskins' passing game.

We have Crowder projected for his first double-digit game of the season and model his upside at 20.14 DraftKings points, which would return a potential value of 4.8 points per $1,000. Given that his ownership will likely be low as well, Crowder presents an intriguing tournament option.
