The Kansas City Chiefs are a 16.5-point favorite as they host the visiting Arizona Cardinals in Week 10. The Chiefs have the highest implied total (33.25 points) on the main slate. There are a plethora of quality targets to choose from when looking at the offense of the Chiefs. For me, one of them leads the charge and it's not even close.

Patrick Mahomes is going to be lower owned this weekend due to the fact that he's the highest priced quarterback on the main slate and the fear that his team will dominate the Cardinals and not have to throw the football. The beauty of rostering Mahomes is that you don't need him to heave the ball all over the yard for 60 minutes. He plays such an efficient style of football and his team can score on any given play from anywhere on the field.

Aside from the fact that he's thrown over 300 yards passing in six straight games, or that he has 3 or more touchdowns in four straight games, Mahomes has completed over 70.6% of his passes in the last three games and has over 8.90 yards per attempt in all three as well. He's scored 30.02 DraftKings points or more in four straight starts.

In fact, the one game that could closely resemble the result that could happen on Sunday would be the Week 7 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, where the Chiefs won 45-10. Mahomes finished with 358 yards passing, 45 yards rushing, and threw for 4 touchdowns, resulting in the second-highest DraftKings total he had all season (36.82).
