The team tied with the Panthers for the third-highest implied total is none other than the Los Angeles Chargers, who are favored by 7.0 points at home against the Denver Broncos. That provides an excellent game script for Melvin Gordon, whose 42.04% market share of the team's opportunities over the past three games is the second-highest mark of any running back, just slightly behind Saquon Barkley. That number also represents a significant 6.35% increase over Gordon's full-season mark.

Gordon draws a solid matchup this week against a Broncos defense that has given up the 11th-most FanDuel points per game to opposing running backs. That number would look even better for Gordon if it weren't for the Broncos holding opposing running backs from scoring any rushing touchdowns in each of the past three games. They did, however, give up a receiving touchdown to Kareem Hunt in Week 8 and had a five-game stretch earlier in the season in which they allowed opposing running backs to rack up a total of eight touchdowns. That presents a great opportunity for Gordon, who has piled on 11 touchdowns over his past seven games, scoring at least once in each of those.

There's also the shocking yardage numbers, with the Broncos allowing opposing running backs to top 170 yards in three straight games from Week 4 to Week 6. That provides an incredibly high ceiling for Gordon, who has topped the 100-yard mark in each of his past five games.
