Mark Ingram met Saints at airport early Monday
New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram met the team at the airport early Monday morning, reports NBC Sports' Peter King.
Monday marks Ingram's first day of eligibility from a four-game suspension for a performance-enhancing drug, and he was apparently eager to return to the team. Ingram may siphon some carries and goal-line work from Alvin Kamara, but he's expected to be more of a complementary piece than a committee mate. The Saints host the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football in Week 5.
Ingram is currently the RB16 in numberFire's season-long fantasy rankings.
