New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees set the NFL record for most career passing yards in Monday night's win over the Washington Redskins.

What It Means:

Brees finished the day with a big stat line, 363 passing yards and 3 touchdowns, but the most memorable moment of the night came on a 62-yard touchdown pass to Tre'Quan Smith in the second quarter where he passed Peyton Manning for the all-time passing yardage record. Brees also came close to joining the 500 touchdown club ending the night with 499 career touchdowns
