Matt Breida (ankle) unlikely to play for 49ers Week 6
San Francisco 49ers running back Matt Breida (ankle) will not practice Thursday and is unlikely to play versus the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football in Week 6, head coach Kyle Shanahan said.
Breida fortunately avoided a high-ankle sprain but the injury will still likely cost him at least one game. Alfred Morris figures to see most of the groundwork in Green Bay if Breida sits. Kyle Juszczyk should also see a boost.
Breida is averaging 12.3 FanDuel points per game this season, with 369 rushing yards and 1 touchdown, and 11 receptions for 90 yards and 1 touchdown. He enters Week 6 as the RB
