Chiefs' Travis Kelce working on controlling in-game emotions
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce said he is making an effort to manage his "passion for the game."
"You're always going to see me have that fieriness to me," Kelce conceded. "That's just the only way I know how to play this game ... I get to release that energy and that passion, that anger that I have. It's something I'm going to have to keep learning with it and keep growing with it." Kelce, who was penalized multiple times for unsportsmanlike conduct or taunting earlier in his career, hasn't received such a penalty since Week 2 of last season. The Chiefs face the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football in Week 6.
Kelce checks in just behind Rob Gronkowski in numberFire's Week 6 fantasy rankings for tight ends. Our models project him for 13.2 FanDuel points at a cost of $7,700, with 8.7 targets, 5.7 receptions, 67.2 yards, and 0.62 touchdowns.
