Eagles expected to use committee against Giants Thursday
Philadelphia Eagles running backs Wendell Smallwood and Corey Clement will both be used Week 6 against the New York Giants on Thursday night, believes Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Berman notes that the Eagles are "happy" with Smallwood's play and they seem to trust him more than they did last season, but he envisions a "mix" of the two backs on Thursday. Mike Kaye of NJ.com expects a slightly Clement-friendly split due to his "red-zone upside and receiving ability."
Smallwood is currently the RB24 and Clement is the RB26 in numberFire's Week 6 fantasy rankings. They respectively cost $5,500 and $5,000 on FanDuel.
