Eagles' Lane Johnson battling ankle sprain, reportedly will be 'difficult' to play Thursday
Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson has been dealing with a high-ankle sprain that will make it "difficult" to play Thursday night versus the New York Giants, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Johnson was added to the injury report Thursday morning but the sprain has apparently been a lingering issue. The 28-year-old All-Pro will "do everything he can and will test it pre-game," per Rapoport, but it sounds like Johnson is on the wrong side of questionable. Halapoulivaati Vaitai will fill in at right tackle if needed.
The Eagles are currently 16th in numberFire's NFL Team Power Rankings.
