Falcons 'hopeful' Mohamed Sanu (hip) will play Week 7
Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn is "hopeful" wide receiver Mohamed Sanu (hip) will be ready for Week 7 versus the New York Giants.
The Falcons face the Giants next Monday, so the extra day should benefit both Sanu and Calvin Ridley (hip). It's also possible Atlanta opts to hold out one of them through the Week 8 bye to fully heal. Sanu turned 2 targets into 2 catches for 46 yards and 1 touchdown before leaving Sunday.
Sanu is averaging 10.2 FanDuel points per game this season, with 22 receptions (33 targets) for 303 yards and 3 touchdowns.
