Devonta Freeman lands on Falcons' injured reserve with foot injury
Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman (foot) is being placed on injured reserve.
Freeman injured his foot Week 5 in his first game back from a three-week absence for a knee injury. He will miss a minimum of eight games. Tevin Coleman will continue to start at running back and Ito Smith should remain involved as well. Freeman turns 27 in March.
Freeman averaged 5.8 FanDuel points in his two appearances this season. He had 14 carries for 68 yards and 5 catches for 23 yards on 7 targets.
