Rishard Matthews reportedly signs with Jets
The New York Jets wide signed wide receiver Rishard Matthews, formerly of the Tennessee Titans, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Matthews claimed last week he likely wouldn't play until next season but he wound up being on the streets for less than a month. Quincy Enunwa (ankle) is out indefinitely and Terrelle Pryor (groin) was released, so Matthews could eventually compete for a role in three-wide sets.
Matthews caught 53 passes (87 targets) for 795 yards and 4 touchdowns in 14 games for the Titans in 2017.
