Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) trending toward sitting out Thanksgiving for Bears
Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) is not expected to play on Thanksgiving versus the Detroit Lions, according to Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune.
Wiederer tweets that "plenty of signs" indicate Chase Daniel will start in Trubisky's place on Thursday. Daniel played in Bears head coach Matt Nagy's offense during their time together on the Kansas City Chiefs, but his insertion under center would still be a clear downgrade for Chicago's offense.
Trubisky is putting up 22.6 FanDuel points per game this season. He's averaging 246.9 passing yards on a 65.4 completion percentage with 20 touchdowns and 9 interceptions and also has 363 yards and 3 scores on the ground.
