Evan Engram (hamstring) 'optimistic' he will play for Giants Week 13
New York Giants tight end Evan Engram (hamstring) is "optimistic" he will be ready for Week 13 versus the Chicago Bears.
Engram didn't play in Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles after pulling his hamstring during warmups. Giants head coach Pat Shurmur said earlier Monday that he does not know how much time Engram (hamstring) will miss, so he may wind up being a game-time decision on Sunday. Rhett Ellison caught 4 passes (6 targets) for 77 yards in Week 12.
Engram is averaging 7.2 FanDuel points over seven games this season, with 23 receptions (33 targets) for 257 yards and 2 touchdowns.
