Leonard Fournette, Jaguars reportedly 'clear the air' for 2019
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette had a meeting with Jaguars Executive Vice President Tom Coughlin and fellow team decision-makers "to clear the air and move forward together for 2019," reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Rapoport is under the impression that "it went well for both sides and things are headed in the right direction." Fournette is unlikely to draw much trade interest coming off a 2018 campaign that was marred by injuries and poor decision-making, so it seems he will be back in Jacksonville next season.
Fournette rushed 133 times for 439 yards and 5 touchdowns and caught 22 passes (26 targets) for 185 yards and 1 touchdown in eight games this season.
