Report: Dolphins plan to release Ryan Tannehill
The Miami Dolphins are expected to release quarterback Ryan Tannehill, according to the Miami Herald.
What It Means:
Tannehill has been a below-average quarterback for the bulk of his career, averaging just 5.9 yet yards per dropback with a 4.2% touchdown rate and 2.6% interception rate.
He completed 176 of 274 passes (64.2%) for 1,979 yards, 17 touchdowns and 9 interceptions in 11 games in 2018.
