Steelers reportedly setting Friday deadline for Antonio Brown offers

The Pittsburgh Steelers notified teams that they want their "best offers on the table" for wide receiver Antonio Brown by Friday, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

What It Means:

Rapoport adds that the Steelers are "still trying to get a first-round pick," although Brown's age (31 in July) and off-field behavior, as well as potential salary demands, may put a ceiling on the receiver's trade value. Tom Pelissero, a colleague of Rapoport's, reports Oakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden would "love" to trade for Brown, but cites contract demands as a "hurdle" in the deal.

Brown caught 104 passes for 1,297 yards and 15 touchdowns on 168 targets in 15 games last season.
