Danny Amendola signs with Lions for 1 year
The Detroit Lions signed wide receiver Danny Amendola, formerly of the Miami Dolphins, to a 1-year, $4.5 million contract.
Amendola, who was released by the Dolphins last week, will be reunited with general manager Bob Quinn and head coach Matt Patricia, as all three individuals spent time together as members of the New England Patriots. The 33-year-old wideout will likely see most of his work over the middle in Detroit, with Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones manning the outside.
Amendola had 59 receptions (79 targets) for 575 yards and 1 touchdown for Miami in 2018.
