Isaiah Crowell cut by Jets
The New York Jets released running back Isaiah Crowell.
This was the obvious move after the Jets landed Le'Veon Bell in free agency. Crowell had three 90-plus yard rushing games in 2018, including a random 219-yard outburst in Week 5, but failed to reach 50 yards in any other contest. He was placed on injured reserve after Week 14 for a foot injury. Crowell is still just 26.
Crowell gained 685 rushing yards and 6 touchdowns on 143 carries in 13 games last season and snagged 21 receptions (28 targets) for 152 scoreless yards.
