Packers place original-round tender on Geronimo Allison
The Green Bay Packers tendered restricted free agent wide receiver Geronimo Allison at the original-round level.
The original-round tender grants the Packers right of first refusal, but they will not receive compensation if the 2016 undrafted free agent signs elsewhere. Allison showed some promise early last season, clearing 60 receiving yards in each of the first four games. However, he suffered an injury and was only able to make one more brief appearance before landing on injured reserve. Only 25, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Allison draw interest elsewhere.
Allison averaged 10.5 FanDuel points over five games last season, with 20 catches on 30 targets for 303 yards and 2 touchdowns.
