Cardinals trade Josh Rosen to Dolphins for second-round pick

The Arizona Cardinals have traded quarterback Josh Rosen and a 2020 fifth-round pick to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a second-round pick (#62 overall) which they used on wide receiver Andy Isabella.

What It Means:

Long rumored for most of the day, the deal finally gets done after the Dolphins dropped back from #48. Rosen will compete with Ryan Fitzpatrick for the starting quarterback job with Fitzpatrick likley the favorite to start the season at the helm of the offense. Rosen was the 10th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Cardinals. Kyler Murray is now locked into the starting job for Arizona.

Rosen threw for 2,278, 11 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions on 393 pass attempts in 2018.
