Colts sign Spencer Ware
The Indianapolis Colts signed running back Spencer Ware to a 1-year, $1.3 million contract.
What It Means:
Ware joins a crowded backfield behind Marlon Mack. The 27-year-old back failed to capitalize on multiple starting opportunities with the Kansas City Chiefs towards the end of last season.
Ware rushed for 246 yards and 2 touchdowns on 51 carries in 13 games last season. He added 20 catches (23 targets) for 224 scoreless yards.
