Washington's Trey Quinn primed for inside slot role

Washington Redskins wide receiver Trey Quinn "has taken over the inside slot role" according to head coach Jay Gruden.

What It Means:

After Jamison Crowder's departure this off-season, Gruden is expecting Quinn to step up and produce in the slot role. "He’s confident, he’s quick, he’s got strong hands, he’s physical, and he’s tough," said Gruden during mini-camp. "Obviously, losing Crowder hurts, hurts quite a bit. But I'm ready to watch Trey Quinn jump in that slot role and dominate the position."

For the 2019 season, our models project Quinn to produce 35.4 receptions for 374.1 yards and 1.9 touchdowns.
