Bears tight end Zach Miller inactive against Lions
Chicago Bears tight end Zach Miller (toe) is inactive for Week 17 against the Detroit Lions.
With Zach Miller (toe) inactive, they're starting Rob Housler at tight end. The Bears have been decimated at wideout this season, losing Marquess Wilson, Alshon Jeffery, and Kevin White to year-ending injuries, and Eddie Royal to an illness and a knee injury that hampered him throughout the year. Miller was a popular DFS option, due to his expected workload this week, but most folks will want to look away from this situation with Housler the replacement.
Housler's -2.51 Target Net Expected Points on just five targets ranks 76th out of the 88 tight ends with at least five targets going into Week 17 action. He's not a reliable fantasy option.
