Jadeveon Clowney expected to join Texans before Week 1
Houston Texans franchise player Jadeveon Clowney is expected to report before Week 1, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
What It Means:
Clowney and the Texans have failed to come to a long-term contract agreement, so the 2014 top overall pick will likely sit out most of training camp before arriving within a couple weeks of the start of the season. He turned 26 in February.
numberFire's models project Clowney for 74.8 tackles and 8.6 sacks in 2019.
