Dolphins' Kallen Ballage takes first snaps
Miami Dolphins running back Kalen Ballage took the first snap during team drills on Thursday.
What It Means:
This doesn't necessarily mean Ballage is locked in as the Dolphins' starter for Week 1, but it's a reminder that Kenyan Drake has competition in the backfield. Ballage averaged 5.3 yards on just 36 carries as a rookie.
Ballage is currently the RB43 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models expect him to rush 122.5 times for 572.1 yards and 2.63 touchdowns, with another 154.1 yards on 21.6 receptions. Drake is numberFire's RB26.
