Andrew Luck sidelined for Colts with calf strain

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck (calf) did not practice Tuesday.

What It Means:

This is Luck's second missed practice over the last four days after sitting out all of minicamp. Colts head coach Frank Reich said Luck is "not ready to take the next step" in his recovery as the calf hasn't progressed as the team had hoped. Luck will be re-evaluated in a couple of days, but Reich indicated the team is erring on the side of caution to guarantee the quarterback's health for the start of the season.

Assuming Luck plays all season, numberFire's models project him for 4,601.0 passing yards with 37.42 touchdowns and 13.3 interceptions this season, with 177.1 rushing yards and another 1.81 scores. He's the QB3 in our preseason fantasy rankings.
