Curtis Samuel 'becoming outstanding route runner' for Carolina
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Curtis Samuel is "becoming an outstanding route runner," offensive coordinator Norv Turner said.
Samuel has also earned consistent praise from beat writers since the start of camp as he looks to replace Devin Funchess as the Panthers' second wideout behind D.J. Moore. The 2017 second-round pick averaged 59.6 yards on 4.0 catches over the final five games last season.
Samuel is the WR41 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models expect him to catch 56.6 passes on 91.4 targets for 664.5 yards and 4.09 touchdowns in 2019.
