Raiders place Doug Martin on injured reserve
The Oakland Raiders placed running back Doug Martin on injured reserve.
What It Means:
DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard will share backup duties behind first-rounder Josh Jacobs. The Raiders may decide to eventually release Martin with an injury settlement. He turned 30 at the beginning of this year.
Martin led the Raiders in carries (172), rushing yards (723) and touchdowns (4) in 2018.
