Derrius Guice expected to miss time for Washington with knee injury
Washington Redskins running back Derrius Guice underwent an MRI Monday on his right knee and is likely to miss time.
Fortunately, the right knee isn't the one Guice tore in last year's preseason. The injury likely explains why Guice was limited to 18 yards on 10 carries in Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He also caught 3 passes (3 targets) for 20 yards. Adrian Peterson, who was a healthy scratch in Week 1, will likely take over as Washington's lead back while Guice is out. Chris Thompson should continue to work on passing downs.
Guice finished with 5.3 FanDuel points in Week 1.
