Raiders' Josh Jacobs posts 113 yards, 2 touchdowns in debut
Oakland Raiders rookie running back Josh Jacobs rushed 23 times for 85 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 24-16, Week 1 win over the Denver Broncos on Monday night.
Jacobs also caught a 28-yard pass on his only target. He dominated carries as the Raiders' clear workhorse, becoming the first player since LaDainian Tomlinson in 2001 with 100 yards from scrimmage and 2 scores in his NFL debut. He only averaged 3.7 yards per carry, but converted both goal-line opportunities for touchdowns. Jacobs is locked into a high-volume role heading into Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jacobs scored 23.8 FanDuel points in Week 1. numberFire's models expect him to score 14.2 FP versus the Chiefs, at a cost of $6,500. He's the RB17 in our Week 2 fantasy rankings.
