Steelers' Kenny Pickett (knee) scheduled to practice Wednesday
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett (knee) is scheduled to practice on Wednesday, per head coach Mike Tomlin.
Pickett was initially expected to miss some time with the knee injury he suffered in Week 4, but there's a chance he will be able to play this Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. The Steelers have their bye in Week 6, so it would make sense if they want to hold Pickett out until they return. Mitchell Trubisky will start if Pickett is unavailable, which could actually be an upgrade for an offense that has been abysmal through four games.
Pickett has been the second-least efficient quarterback in the NFL with at least 100 dropbacks this season, according to numberFire's advanced metrics. numberFire's models project Trubisky for 14.9 FanDuel points in Week 5 if he starts, with 222.0 passing yards, 1.06 touchdowns, and 0.8 interceptions. The Ravens are allowing the third-fewest FanDuel points per game to quarterbacks this season.
