Rams quarterback Brett Rypien will start versus Packers in Week 9
The Los Angeles Rams have officially announced that Brett Rypien will start at quarterback for their Week 9 game against the Green Bay Packers.
Rypien will make the start this week while Stafford rests his injured thumb. The former Broncos backup has struggled in his NFL appearances so far, but head coach Sean McVay has previously summoned strong performances from backups in the past (like John Wolford or Baker Mayfield).
Rypien has a $6,300 salary on FanDuel and is projected to score 12.4 FanDuel points, with 215.6 passing yards, 0.9 touchdowns, and in interception.
