Sammy Watkins (foot) will not play for Bills Sunday
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins (foot) will not play Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Watkins tweeted something Saturday night suggesting he was planning on playing, but it sounds like he failed to receive medical clearance. Schefter reports the Bills will turn to speedster Marquise Goodwin opposite Robert Woods. Battling a recurring foot injury, he'll likely be week to week for the rest of the year.
As the top wide receiver for Buffalo, Woods comes in at 40th-best among wideouts in our projections in Week 3. We project him for 57 receiving yards and 0.21 touchdowns on 5 catches.
