Laquon Treadwell facing 'very critical' offseason for Vikings

Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur said this offseason will be "very critical" for wide receiver Laquon Treadwell.

What It Means:

Treadwell's rookie campaign was limited to nine games due to multiple injuries, but he failed to show anything when he did play and was buried on the depth chart all season. Charles Johnson and Cordarrelle Patterson are both expected to hit free agency, so the 23rd pick from last year's NFL draft will have plenty of opportunity to earn a bigger role this offseason.

Treadwell finished his rookie campaign with one catch for 15 yards on nine targets.
