Vikings appreciate Laquon Treadwell's work ethic

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Laquon Treadwell's work ethic is outstanding, according to general manager Rick Spielman.

What It Means:

"I know that he is maybe the hardest-working kid I’ve ever seen. He is so determined to be a good player, and he has the skill set to do it," Spielman said. "He is going to be a good player with us. I do believe that in my heart." Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur said this offseason is going to be "very critical" for Treadwell after essentially a lost rookie season, but it sounds like the front office believes he is up to the task. With Cordarrelle Patterson an unrestricted free agent and Charles Johnson (RFA) not bringing much to the offense, Treadwell should be given every opportunity to carve out a big role.

Treadwell finished his rookie campaign with one catch for 15 yards on nine targets.
