Lions release DeAndre Levy
The Detroit Lions released linebacker DeAndre Levy.
What It Means:
This was inevitable, but the Lions chose to drag it out for a bit. Levy's best days are behind him due to some brutal injuries the past two years. He turns 30 later this month.
Levy has played in a total of five games over the past two seasons, all of which came in 2016, recording 19 tackles in three starts.
