NFL conditionally reinstates Pittsburgh's Martavis Bryant
The NFL has conditionally reinstated suspended Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant on Tuesday.
Bryant ends his suspension after 407 days (20 games over two seasons) for substance abuse and will likely face numerous drug tests with one misstep ending in a lifetime ban. The Steelers desperately need the talented wideout's big play potential alongside Antonio Brown and will now have him back for the 2017 season. In just 21 games played in his career, the 25-year-old wideout has 14 touchdowns with 76 receptions and 1,314 yards (17.3 yards per catch).
Bryant's 0.66 Reception Net Expected Points per target ranked 58th among the 87 wideouts with at least 50 targets in 2015 -- his last active season in the league.
