Steelers release Ladarius Green
The Pittsburgh Steelers have released tight end Ladarius Green.
Green was released after failing a physical -- which doesn't come as a big surprise as he has been dealing with concussion issues that have had retirement rumors swirling since last summer. He has yet to pass the league's concussion protocol this offseason, and retirement is a real possibility for the soon-to-be 27-year-old.
Green produced well when he did see the field last season, and his 0.88 Reception Net Expected Points per target ranked fifth among the 43 tight ends to receive at least 30 targets this past year.
