Latavius Murray (ankle) uncertain to be at Vikings' training camp
Minnesota Vikings running back Latavius Murray (ankle surgery) said his "goal is just to try to be available during training camp at some point."
Murray had his walking boot removed on Tuesday after ankle surgery in March. Murray originally expected to be ready for training camp, but -- despite the target date being moved back -- insists he has not suffered setbacks. Second in line for carries behind Dalvin Cook, Murray needs to get back as soon as possible to earn a role.
While playing for the Oakland Raiders, Murray finished 12th in Rushing NEP per attempt among the 42 running backs with at least 100 rushing attempts in 2016.
