Raiders, Derek Carr finalizing long-term extension
Oakland Raiders and quarterback Derek Carr are nearing a long-term extension that would pay out an estimated $25 million per year, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Carr is entering the final year of his rookie contract, but the two sides appear all but finished with a deal that could make the Raiders quarterback the highest-paid player at his position.
