Washington's Jordan Reed saw specialist about toe injury

Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed saw a specialist in Charlotte regarding his recent toe injury, according to head coach Jay Gruden.

What It Means:

Since the injury arose last week, the team has placed the tight end on the active/PUP list without a timetable for his return. So, although, the team has said the injury is minor and that they are not concerned, things might be more serious than they first appeared.

Through 4 NFL seasons, Reed has played in just 46 of 64 possible games. If healthy, however, our models like him to be this year's TE4 with 80 catches, 877 yards and 7.2 scores on the year.
