Latavius Murray (ankle) activated from Vikings' PUP
The Minnesota Vikings activated running back Latavius Murray (ankle) from the active/PUP list.
Murray ended up spending two weeks on the PUP list. It's not a moment too soon for the 27-year-old back, who has been working on side fields as rookie Dalvin Cook wows onlookers. Murray should miss this week's preseason opener, but has enough time to get in shape for Preseason Week 2. It's not written in stone, but Cook is the current favorite to lead the Vikings' backfield in touches.
Our models project Murray for 640 rushing yards and 3.79 touchdowns on 148 carries in 2017, adding 21 catches for 135 receiving yards and 0.54 touchdowns. He's our RB39 for fantasy purposes.
