Eric Decker

Eric Decker (ankle) unlikely to play in Titans' third preseason game

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Eric Decker is expected to miss his second straight preseason game, according to Titans Online's Jim Wyatt.

What It Means:

As the Titans get set to face the Chicago Bears on Sunday, they'll be without rookie Corey Davis (hamstring) as well as Decker, who is battling an ankle injury. The Titans are in no rush for the 30-year-old to play in meaningless games, with the expectation of being the team's top receiver in 2017. In his stead, Rishard Matthews, Harry Douglas and Taywan Taylor should continue to see preseason looks from Marcus Mariota and company.

Our algorithms project Decker for a team-high 69.9 catches and 125.8 fantasy points, making him WR31 in standard leagues. You can get him at the beginning of the eighth round in your average 12-team drafts.
